Salado Creek

There's a small town between "here" and "there" called Salado. It's one of our favorite lunch and shopping spots. Yesterday, we went to lunch with the girls, Ma Spice, Sister Spice and Spicy Cousin. After eating lunch at the Stagecoach Inn and doing a little shopping, we stopped at the creek to see the mermaid statue and skip some rocks.

Brrrrr, the water was cold. Of course, I told S.G. not to get all wet, but you know how that goes. She slipped and fell on her rump and was wet from the waist down. She didn't seem to mind.
