This past weekend we got the pleasure of a visit from my cousin and her two little guys. We had to pack a lot into a short trip, so here's what we did...
A little cereal for breakfast. These boys are 100% boys. It's not often you can get them both smiling in a picture, soooo, I told them they better NOT smile...and this is what I got. Hee-Hee!!
We went to the swimming pool and swam for a few hours. Spicy Girl LOVED going down the water slides!
Last summer when they were here for a visit, we went to one of our local bridges where the bats live. At a certain time, they all come flying out for the evening to hunt bugs. Last year we missed it. This year we made it!!
It's really an amazing site. There are thousands of bats flying out for the evening. You can also see them swarming underneath the bridge. (click on the picture for a close up view.)
By the end of the evening, the kids were wiped out. But, we had to make time to play with glow sticks. I kept trying to find a setting on my camera to catch the actual glow. These pics turned out pretty cool.

My MIL and I were JUST talking about the bats the other day! ; )
That looks like a lot of fun.
When we lived in Austin, we were under the general flight path of the bats. Every night, about the same time, we would see the dark column grow bigger and bigger...then they would finally flap over us. :)
