Sugar and Spice

This is a picture I took about a month ago of Panda Girl and Spicy Girl. We were off to lunch as they held hands and walked ahead of us. What cuties. They've been friends for 1 1/2 years now. We've watched them go from pull ups to big girl pants, baby talk to big girl talk and playing nicely side by side to grabbing a toy out of each other's hands and saying, "That's mine!"

We met the Panda Family in Home Depot more than a year ago. Of course we were immediately drawn to each other when we saw our little girls. The girls hit it off as well. They loved getting together for play time. Of course, we mommies did too. What's so amazing, is that we have so much in common. Our husbands are both Children's Pastors, we are stay at home mom's (former teachers), and we both are working to adopt another baby from China. It's been a blessing to meet the Panda Family, as we were new to the area at the time, and didn't have many friends.

Who knew within just a few weeks, we'd have a playgroup of 6. Within the month of meeting each other, we met Deshing Mommy, Lilly's Mommy, Gracelyn's Mommy and Avalon's Mommy. Oh what fun we have had!
