Oh what fun we had on Saturday. We're ready to jump in the car and head to our first destination.
First stop, IHOP for a smiley face pancake. Oops, the whip cream slid down. Oh well, it all tastes the same.

Next stop, the charm "place". Each Gotcha Day we add a charm, or two to S.G.'s charm bracelet. This year she wanted a leopard (her pre-k class)...

...and a panda (my pre-k class).

Spicy Girl has been asking for months to go to Build-A-Bear. We asked if she would like to wait until Gotcha Day for our special activity. So, the excitement for this day has been building. We had already walked through several times in the past few months, so she already had her dog picked out. Here, she is getting the stuffing and heart placed inside the pup.

Now she gets to give her puppy a "bath".

She made it very clear that her dog is a boy, so we picked out some "boy" clothes and got him dressed..JPG)

Now S.G. gets to prepare his birth certificate. Guess what...Max and S.G. have the same Gotcha Day..JPG)
Lastly, a little dinner at The Bamboo Palace..JPG)

It was a wonderful day. Spicy Girl is already making plans for next year. She asked when her next Gotcha Day would be. Of course we had to break the news that it would be a whole 'nother year.
