Grasshoppers!!

So, Spicy Girl had a report to do at home this week. Her class is studying insects, and S.G. chose the Grasshopper. We read her book, looked online and prepared her poster. However, poor S.G. has been home sick this week with strep throat and pink eye, so she hasn't had a chance to share her report yet.

But the good news is,we found a katydid (part of the grasshopper family) in an empty ice tray this morning. Oh, the joy of living in the country. Hee-Hee. So, we put this little guy in S.G.'s insect cage...and guess what? When she returns to school tomorrow to present her report...she has a real grasshopper to share. Pretty cool huh??
Now, I hope Mrs. "N" doesn't mind a little show and tell.
