Last night was our High School Musical Children's Christmas Party. We were expecting a little over 300, so imagine our surprise when we totalled over 500. It was a blast. Our Master's Commission students performed in an awesome skit. In between, the new Children's Pastor presented the Christmas Story. I have to say, this was bittersweet for me. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that Daddy Spice is no longer the Children's Pastor. His position has changed to Launch Pastor, which means we will be spending a year at each new location (2 new ones in the works). So, as we started the plans for this Christmas party, we stepped out to move on to our new position. We were able to bring a bunch of kiddos from our other location, and they LOVED it. Anyway, it was a great night!

Wow! 500 kids! That is fantastic! My niece would have loved that production - she is a huge High School Musical fan (along with everyone else!)
